How do you determine interest rate for a vault?

Zapper.fi
  1. A simple dashboard for DeFi. Easily track and visualize all your DeFi assets and liabilities in one simple interface.
How is each of these platforms coming up with each of these rates? Which one is correct? I know that actual rates will vary day to day (or even block to block) but how the heck do I trust one and which one is using which timeframe or what information? When I load my address into zapper.fi and use its calculated current value of my ycrvBUSD tokens vs what my initial deposit was, I calculate that my APY since deposit has roughly been just roughly 20% (what is displayed on yearn.finance).

  2. The Ethereum loan explorer
The other two sites pictured are loanscan.io and yearn.party which have very different numbers . The latter of which is also concerning because the interest it claims has been generated ("you yearned $xxx") is half of what I appear to be able to zap my vault tokens back into stable coin, which I guess would also be in line with its assumption that the interest rate is half of what yearn.finance is quoting.
