Synergy

I'm wondering if a cheap HDMI switch for each monitor would work? Use Synergy or Mouse Without Borders for the input, and switch each monitor based on which mix you want at that moment. Might test one first, I'm not sure if cheap HDMI switches fully disconnect all the pins (so the computer will think the monitor is unplugged and rearrange windows), or if they keep the hot plug pin connected, and only switch the signal.
