Wordpress hosted on subfolder of domain causing customizer to constantly refresh

One weird problem I noticed though is when I go to the customizer it keeps refreshing constantly. It looks like its trying to request jquery from the root https://example.com even though:.

With multi-sites, you can have your parent site (ie https://example.com), and the sub-sites can either be a subdomain or subdirectory (ie https://another-site.example.com or https://example.com/another-site). It seems like a better set up for what you have instead of managing nested Wordpress sites. The first two settings are enabling multi-site, and the third setting, `define('SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL', false);`, is saying whether you want your multisite sub-sites to be a subdomain or subdirectory. Since you want it to be a subdirectory, it's set to `false`. If you wanted it to be a subdomain, it'd be set to `true`.
