This application lets you use png jpeg and icns, it lets you search for the application of your choosing and also refreshes the icons. Works for everything except for App Store applications (for some reason) and obviously the system applications which are completely locked away from endusers in Big Sur, even with SIP disabled you can't modify anything in the system files.
