  2. Privacy-first, no-nonsense, super-fast blogging. No trackers, no JavaScript, no stylesheets. Just your words.
I was pretty unhappy with the outage last night. All the user blogs for https://bearblog.dev went down for about an hour and a half (and I had so many emails this morning). I'm looking to move Bear over to either a Digital Ocean droplet (I have the staging server running on one with SQlite and Litestream running and believe it could actually scale quite well), or to Fly.io (to be seen).

Render is a unified platform to build and run all your apps and websites with free SSL, a global CDN, private networks and auto deploys from Git.
I moved to https://render.com, and it works pretty well so far.

  4. Super easy Rails servers. Configure any server to run Ruby on Rails servers in minutes and without hassle.
The new Hatchbox v2 ( https://hatchbox.io/ ) coupled with a low cost instance from Linode has been a dream for me. Multiple apps can be deployed to a single server without incurring more costs. Hatchbox does all of the provisioning.

Edge computing is the new frontier.
Yes, have been planning on it for awhile but yesterday's outage was last straw for us. Probably moving to Fly.io (https://fly.io).

  6. Uptime monitoring for software teams (even teams of one).
    Pricing:
    • Freemium
    • Free Trial
    • $24.0 / Monthly (30 Uptime Checks, 1 Status Page, 1 User)
Do you have a status page? (I'm biased as the founder, but) our customers at https://onlineornot.com report getting fewer support tickets during incidents as their users know to check status.example.com before asking support what happened.
