Make friends with food. Social ordering from your favourite local restaurants and coffee shops.
I was initially confused how the product was gaining so much traction so quickly. It sounded very similar to Ritual — another social network oriented meal ordering app founded in 2014 (3 years before Snackpass was founded). Ritual has raised a LOT of money (>$100M) and it seemed infeasible for Snackpass to compete.

  3. Food delivery for college campuses and surrounding restaurants.
Snackpass has chosen the launch strategy many student founders take: expand from campus to campus. It is evident they are targeting students with the launch strategy, but their UI matches it as well. They use bright colors, fun icons, and lots of emojis. This all plays into the addictive and fun focus of the app, further differentiating Snackpass from competitors like Ritual and Tapingo.
