    Sounds like you're looking for quantization. AFAIK, Audacity doesn't support quantization, just various workarounds like click track and beat finder plugins. Ultimately, it sounds like you're looking for a DAW, which is not what Audacity is or is used for. If you need an Open Source option, I believe Ardour would fit your needs well.
