  Is the office computer near the audio setup? If you want to go budget and use equipment you already have, you should check out Rogue Amoeba's Airfoil software. You could use your computer as a transmitter to AirPlay devices. The iMac would have to go in the chain between the CD player/turntable pre-amp and the receiver.   Finally got my multiroom audio working properly via OpenHAB this weekend... Fancied doing a bit of a writeup to basically say - was it worth it? I'm not aware of any just because I've never needed one or looked, but there very well could be.
