Afi G Suite Backup is the latest generation of data protection with clean & responsive UI, easy to use SLA-based protection settings, and 2-3x better backup/restore performance compared to legacy players. You could use a 3rd party backup tool like afi.ai or dropsuite. Source: 11 months ago
I also use afi.ai. We are allocated something like X GB per user and have a lot of extra storage as many of our users are lighter email users. Source: 11 months ago
The two companies I can recommend for cloud to cloud backups are afi.ai and keepit. Keepit is actually a Veritas company and their focus on security and redundancy is almost 1:1 to ours. Source: 12 months ago
I see people recommending afi.ai quite a lot for this service. Source: about 1 year ago
At some point you have to trust that your admin is not snooping. At any point you can if you wanted to view user emails and files using the api, vault , or 3rd party tools so this is always a risk. I would say using a 3rd party tool like afi.ai has the best logging and over all utility. Also sub accounts can be created for viewing the backups by other staff members. Source: about 1 year ago
You could use afi.ai to run backups and I think they allow for free user archiving with audit logs. Source: about 1 year ago
I'd go cloud if you can, afi.ai ... Spanning and Spin are blah since private equity gobbled 'em up. Synology is awesome but local is local and that comes with an attachment. Might be cool in this case. Source: over 1 year ago
We are entirely online. Currently about to migrate 40 users from Workspace to 365. I am looking for a cloud backup for 365. I have looked at afi.ai and skykick.com. Both of them seem very similar. Both even have Teams chat and file backup features. What services do you all use? Source: over 1 year ago
Dropsuite (unlimited space) afi.ai (free archiving) are valid options that backup multiple times a day and are automated. Source: over 1 year ago
I keep seeing this afi.ai, is it any good? Source: over 1 year ago
Cloud-based automated solutions - afi.ai, Backupify, Spanning Local backups - CubeBackup (incl. To GCP), Skyvia, CloudBerry Lab. Source: over 1 year ago
It also has options for O365 backups but we use afi.ai for that. Source: over 1 year ago
Check out https://afi.ai. We use them for a lot of managed clients and have been very happy with it. Source: almost 2 years ago
I started to use afi.ai to essentially copy the employees data (mail and drive) to their respective empty test accounts and thought this would provide some measures of the restore capabilities. Source: almost 2 years ago
Also looked into afi.ai..looked pretty nice and $3/user. Supposedly easy setup but can't vouch for the service since I never used it. Source: almost 2 years ago
We use afi.ai and Barracuda. If you have a Synology NAS, they also have an excellent M365 backup app. Source: almost 2 years ago
And as a bonus afi.ai is like $3/user and is gonna crush whatever you're trying to do currently; especially if you ever have to actually restore anything. Source: about 2 years ago
Afi.ai is a remote company with a remote team in Europe (Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia & Cyprus). With the whole geopolitical climate in Russia, is there a potential for data compromise especially around these counties that may be under the influence of Russia? Based on their SOC 3 report, afi.ai claims their employees do not have access to client data within the production databases. Source: about 2 years ago
Their 365 Backups/SaaS protection didn't offer us any integration or API we could effectively use and frankly, the SaaS protection no longer offers more than the 365 suite so we declined that recently too and will stick with SkyKick but are reviewing afi.ai. Source: about 2 years ago
365 Backups - I heard from a massive number of people about afi.ai being the best one to go for. Is that still the go to option? Have used DropSuite in the past, while setup is easy, not a fan of their alerting and anytime a user ID is changed in Office 365, it stops backing up without altering anyone. Again, month to month contract and flexibility is the key along with user interface and ability for clients to... Source: about 2 years ago
Even something like using Veeam, and our own bandwidth and storage, STILL HAS A MONTHLY COST. That one just bugs me a little bit because it costs just as much as using something like afi.ai to pull your 365 data into their storage without ever touching my bandwidth. Source: about 2 years ago
