Since we’re talking Iceland, any opinions on 1984? Source: over 1 year ago
1984.hosting is great inexpensive option for privacy (they accept crypto and are based in Iceland). Because bitcoin is the only crypto that they accept and they do require an email for sign up, some OPSEC rules do need to be followed. Source: over 1 year ago
1984.hosting is who I use now. No ID required, no issues using a VPN to access their servers. Support has been excellent on the 2 occasions I’ve needed them. Source: over 1 year ago

Get a .net or .org domain either from Njalla or 1984. It’s $15 a year. Source: over 1 year ago

And if so, did you have to port forward on the VPS side? Is this possible on VPS servers? Or is it just not possible on https://1984.hosting? Source: about 2 years ago
1984 Hosting, located on Iceland. Been using them for a year now and it's been great! :). Source: over 2 years ago
I'd also like to see the Hosting section expanded, as I'm constantly checking back to see if anyone has news/insights on good web hosts, VPSs, etc. 1984 hosting is a good alternative I use that I would recommend based on their privacy practices (Iceland, cryptocurrency payments, etc.).
