Restream is the most popular platform for marketers, entrepreneurs, content creators, social community managers, coaches, and houses of worship to stream live to multiple platforms simultaneously. We have a community of over 3M streamers, using Restream to go live on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and 30+ other platforms at the same time.
I had a lot of interesting talks with Java experts since I started producing the Foojay Podcast. But when I asked the organizers of the J-Fall conference, if I could do some kind of live broadcast at their event, I hadn't imagined it would be such an amazing experience! During the day I had 29 interviews, which I all broadcasted live on multiple websites (YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter) with the amazing restream... - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
I'm relatively new with using restream.io It's a great service for me if I wanna stream to twitch and youtube at the same time without using extra network bandwith or computer resources. Just using OBS. Source: 6 months ago
Powered by Restream https://restream.io Time to see if we still got the sauce. #learning #chill #deadlink. Source: 11 months ago
I attempted to use restream.io to simulcast to several platforms at once (youtube, twitch, occasionally facebook), but ran in to some issues. Namely, if OBS or your computer crashes while using restream, restream will automatically "end stream" on youtube, so even if you come back your VOD will be split. As noted in my post, the VOD brings in almost as many hours of watch time as the actual stream, so having a... Source: 12 months ago
So, I emailed them. They pretty much emailed me back telling me to try what I've already tried. Then they told me to try a Restreamer service. I told them that's the only way I can connect to Kick is through restream.io. Their last reply was something to the effect of, "Glad we could help you fix your connection issues". Essentially telling me to keep using restream.io. I mean, I guess that's okay. And now that... Source: 12 months ago
Let’s talk about a game-changing strategy that’s often overlooked: multi-streaming to YouTube while going live on Kick. It may sound unconventional, but it seems like a no-brainer! Especially if you’re already creating short-form content, harness the potential of YouTube shorts and let the algorithm drive viewers to your live stream. And hey, if they prefer a different vibe, simply inform them about your presence... Source: 12 months ago
So after using restream.io for over 2 years They decided they are scumbags and went for a paid subscription model. Source: 12 months ago
I use restream.io to send one feed out and they send to up to 2 places on a free account with some restrictions. If you want to stream to several places you can purchase a monthly sub and get more stream destinations. Source: about 1 year ago
Restream.io is how I multi-stream, works well havent had issues. As for the other question, you could get a 2nd dock, you could get a splitter so 1 HDMI source goes to 2+ screens, you could try the projector if theres not too much latency, etc. Lots of flexibility there. Source: about 1 year ago
Start small - only stream to one or two platforms at a time, until you get comfortable running your room. The first week I thought I was being all savvy by purchasing a premium account with restream.io and streaming to 5 different platforms. The chat feature on restream does not work on custom RTMP streaming, so I was struggling to keep up with the chats on all of the platforms and despite us having the highest... I would use switchboard.live or restream.io and restream from there to FB, Youtube, AND Vimeo simultaneously. Source: about 1 year ago
Yes, just use something like restream.io and stream to both. Source: about 1 year ago
Pro: - Doesn't violate Youtube TOS by Dual-Streaming to Kick unlike Twitch - You get New Audience - You get 95% subscription split(more $$ per sub) - Grow the channel with more viewers like you are doing with Tiktok/Shorts/Instagram/Twitter - Something New on Kick Platform - If Kick dies Kick viewers migrate to Youtube anyways W - Kick allows Omegle Content - Easy to setup dual streaming(RTMP Plugin in OBS... I would say to sign up for restream and stay on twitch but also stream to a second platform and see where you get the most traction. Source: about 1 year ago
Use restream.io - If you're affiliate or partner you're breaking TOS (i think), if not, go ham. Source: about 1 year ago
I unchecked the box "DNS Server Override" and clicked "Save" in pfSense General Settings. I then went to my desktop pc and ran the commands ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew. Then tried hitting (browser/ping/nslookup) the URL restream.io and I'm getting the same error results. Same error when trying to ping restream.io from pfSense/Diagnostics/ping. We use restream.io to broadcast to a wide number of endpoints and manage community interaction in one spot. Without knowing lots and lots more about the event, purpose, tech setup and expected attendance its really hard to be of much help. Source: over 1 year ago
