I've used OpenKJ for years after having previously running Tricerasoft JustKaraoke. Tricerasoft is out of business, but the software is "out there". OpenKJ is completely free. I run it from my Ubuntu laptop, but it's also on Mac & PC. Source: almost 3 years ago
A free option is openkj.org, you will need your own songs though. Other than that I'd suggest Karafun, it's only $10 a month. Not aware of any virtual karaoke programs. Source: about 3 years ago
