  • How good is WorldAnvil's support for a family tree?
If you want a good free software I'd recommend familyecho.com - you can import/export family trees and I also think there's a share function if you and your friends want? It does also calculate the closest relation between two people automatically. The big draw for me is that you can customise the display really well (number of generations, show birth/current names, make life dates invisible etc.). And none of... Source: 12 months ago

  • Fiction Writers - How do you track family history/pedigrees?
Spreadsheets and Genealogical numbering systems help a lot IMO! But if you'd like a free, simple, and fiction friendly (aka no error messages for DOB's) I personally use familyecho.com! Source: over 1 year ago

  • How do you plan your Sims' families?
I use familyecho.com to make family trees. You can export sims' portraits from SimPe by opening your neighborhood and going to tools > neighborhood > extract neighborhood. It'll create a folder with all of your sims' portraits. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Any Wiki-style genealogy software?
I came across one recently that allows quite a bit of info input, completely free, has the ability to save as a few different formats including gedcom, and also sharing a read only HTML version. You can also share access to edit via email, so that way others can work on it. I suppose the only downside is its web based (so need the internet for it), but so far I'm liking what it offers - https://familyecho.com/. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Family Echo
Family Echo is a family tree maker. It is online at familyecho.com and I think you guys should make a video on it. You have to know the family tree in order to make it, but I just use it to make fake trees every once in a while. You should check it out! Source: over 2 years ago
  • What’s the best strategy to make a Clan’s family tree?
I use familyecho.com. If you have a lot of cats though it can be hard to view them all at once. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Looking for a creative person to help with a fictional family tree
    - the tree is being done on familyecho.com. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Is there a mod that can showcase full family tree?
Many people seem to create a family tree on an external app/site, such as The Plum Tree (Sims-specific family tree creator) or Family Echo (not sims-specific, but I find it much easier to use than TPT). Source: about 3 years ago
  • Making THE MOST Complicated Sim Family Tree
I use Family Echo myself, because A) I started with TS3 and the Plum Tree is more geared to TS4, and B) It's so much quicker and easier to add and edit family members. I found The Plum Tree really clunky to use. Source: about 3 years ago
