Dolly app is specifically for moving things. I haven't tried it yet but I've heard good things from furniture stores. Did you ask at the desk? Sometimes they have recommended delivery companies, I used to recommend 2bigformycar but I had a bad experience, maybe it was just me, the guys were kind of jerks and rude. Source: almost 2 years ago
Hi đź‘‹, I just moved from Indy to Chicago a few weeks ago. I was going to use Two Men and a Truck, but they quoted me $3800 for a one bedroom apartment. So instead I just rented a 15' U-Haul and used this app called Dolly, which is like Uber for hiring moving help. I paid a few hundred bucks for the U-Haul and $100 for the Dolly worker in Chicago. 10/10 would use Dolly again, so it's something to consider. Driving a... Source: almost 2 years ago

There are services you could use to scope this out more clearly (I've had success with thumbtack and taskrabbit in the past, there's also a specific moving service called "Dolly" which might help). I don't know how much those cost, but the benefit is not having to deal with your own rentals. If I had to guess, it'd probably cost 100-200 for one of these services for this kind of move. I'm a 24 year old and this would be my first time moving using a moving company. I found this one company that seems to be widely lauded/liked - Dolly (dolly.com). Source: about 2 years ago
I’ve specifically used Dolly when I’ve purchased furniture from Facebook and it’s always been pretty seamless. Definitely worth it. Source: about 2 years ago

I sold a sofa on FB marketplace and the buyer used dolly.com for pickup and delivery. They did a nice job. I think you'll be happier with a higher-quality secondhand sofa over something cheap and new that's basically disposable. When I was moving I sold my 2-year-old $2000 sofa for like 300 bucks because I was short on time. Source: about 2 years ago
You can also try https://dolly.com. I had someone use this to pick up when I sold a dresser off FB marketplace. Source: about 2 years ago
Anyone have any recommendations for a quick pickup/dropoff moving service in the Des Moines area? I'm planning on buying a sofa on Facebook Marketplace, but I don't have the vehicle or manpower to pick it up from the seller and move it to my apartment. I've used Dolly in the past, but they don't offer service in Des Moines. Thanks! Source: over 2 years ago

I used Dolly https://dolly.com/ when I moved here. Not outstanding, but the 3-flight lugging of heavy stuff was done as well as it could be. Source: over 2 years ago
Try https://dolly.com/ . They do this sort of thing as a business. Source: over 2 years ago

I've used apps like Dolly and Bungi, you can also get a truck at Lowes or Home Depot for $20-30 (for 90 mins I think), or maybe find a neighborhood/building FB group and ask for volunteers. Source: almost 3 years ago
(I found https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOAHS-ARK-THEME-BABY-CRIB-QUILTED-3-D-HEADBOARD-BUMPER-PAD-C-CATHY-HECK/293321705783 which dates from nearly the same time. I went looking, and went down a rabbit-hole to see if the company (Dolly Inc. From dolly.com) had produced anything similar, found out the supplied wallmart and babys r us but had no luck finding other similar Noah sets.). Source: almost 3 years ago
I used this this app https://dolly.com/ when I moved to new apartment in Arlington. They have several options where you get to choose if you need a truck or just manual labour for moving. Source: almost 3 years ago
