Use https://dice.fm and if you want to go clubbing https://ra.co/events/uk/london. Source: 8 months ago
I'd try Dice https://dice.fm & Resident Advisor https://ra.co/events/us/newyork. Also the pinned post on /r/avesNYC has a comment from someone with this handy event calendar that they maintain. Maybe you can meet people on that sub to meet up with at the events you already think you might like, and there's always meeting new people once you're at an event. Source: 12 months ago
I was wondering if anyone wanted to go to the concert tonight but couldn't because it was sold out? I'm just putting out a notification here incase anyone wants my ticket? I've put it up for resale on dice.fm. Source: about 1 year ago
If you're on the waitlist you should be able to buy it with the dice.fm app otherwise I think I can transfer it to you. Lmk if youre interested. Source: about 1 year ago
Wrecked and Carry sold out more than a month ago, for June lol. OP you should check RA (https://ra.co) and Dice (https://dice.fm) for pride events. Now is the time to look! Source: about 1 year ago
Songkick, Spotify, and Last.fm all use your actual listening habits to recommend concerts. The Dice ticketing app lets you track venues and artists. Source: about 1 year ago
I put one back up in the dice.fm fan exchange earlier today.. I haven't gotten any notice it's been sold you can prob do the buy now from waiting list and get it. Source: over 1 year ago
My point on artists is that maximising value extraction isn't their priority. I worked in the industry for almost a decade, had 2 record labels, and signed a number of bands that became famous (for some definition of that)... So I have some experience here even though that experience has aged a bit. Artists are balancing revenue now, with future growth, with record sales, with drawing in new fans, with taking the... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
You have to create a Dice.fm account if you don't already have one as it's the only way of transferring passes. Source: over 1 year ago
Then your best bet is social channels for the various local venues and promoters. Alt Tickets do most of the Thekla shows, Dice do lots at Rough Trade and have a pretty good recommendation engine built into the app. You can (and should) buy tickets directly from the venues (Trinity Centre, St. Georges, etc.) where you can - so give them a follow too. We use Elixir at DICE (https://dice.fm) for event ticketing and discovery. We have a lot of burst traffic when big name events go on sale and elixir handles it really well. What do we like about it? We actually moved from Go and have nearly removed all Go code from the platform now. Because of our burst traffic we want a really efficient platform that gives everyone a good chance to get the tickets they want. Go... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
Https://dice.fm/ I know most people in London use Dice for smaller/mid-sized gigs, and I think it’s been rolled out to some of the other bigger cities through the UK now too. Source: almost 2 years ago
No, you only need to RSVP if you want to see the screening and Q&A with Atiba Jefferson tomorrow, July 14. Right now, you can only waitlist so it's not a guarantee you'll get to see the Q&A. The details are on the dice.fm app or you can also look at the dice.fm site here: https://dice.fm/event/me9pl-interpol-art-show-screening-with-live-qa-featuring-atiba-jefferson-14th-jul-brain-dead-studios-los-angeles-tickets... Please note that this is not an individually ticketed event and there is no way for one attendee to transfer their spot to another person. All RSVPs are done through dice.fm, which offers a waitlist for people to grab slot in the event an attendee cancels. RSVP does not guarantee entry. Source: almost 2 years ago
They go on sale tomorrow at 10am (at a very reasonable £37.25) and ticket limit is 6 per person through the dice.fm app. The group will need a bunch of tickets between them/us (I've already got mine through this morning's pre-sale, mine are fully allocated). Source: almost 2 years ago
Trying to score last-minute tickets to Friday's show in NYC. Since tix are handled by dice.fm there is practically no resale market (good thing overall) but the waitlist function is rough since they won't tell you where you are on the list. If anyone has a lead we'd be super grateful. Looking for three tix ideally, but one would get us started! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤. Source: almost 2 years ago
There's still some tickets on dice.fm. Source: almost 2 years ago
I'm working at https://dice.fm, we're an entertainment ticketing platform (gigs, festivals, comedy, etc). At it's core we're really just an ecommerce platform but do have to deal with larger events that will sell out extremely quickly. We've found it tough to hire elixir engineers because there just aren't that many but we're really happy with the tech choice none the less. We're quite a small engineering team and... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
If you can't access presale ticket sale on dice.fm and, like me, you forgot to obtain a Presale Code, there's a workaround I found, at least for Berlin: Some intermediary ticketsites (I used bandsintown.com) link directly to the dice-presale, bypassing the whole code lockout part. I am selling 3 tickets through dice.fm website. Create a dice.fm account and message me the details outlined in the pic below (phone number, email, full name). dice.fm will process the transfer. The price will be the original price of the tickets. Source: over 2 years ago
