I tried Aragon, which allowed the Rinkeby testnet, but their website is slow and flakey, especially with testnets. (Even the support person said it didn't work for them.) It would otherwise seem perfect! Their "Membership" template is exactly what I need. Source: over 2 years ago

When I listen to people talking about DAOs it seems they tend to focus on using blockchain, smart contracts, and cryptocurrency to allow a group of people to cooperate digitally. Also when I look at projects like Aragon it seems as though the extent of the decentralization is that it's operating on-chain. Aragon seems to push people to cooperate via voting as opposed to a single CEO position, but I'm questioning... Source: over 2 years ago

Aragon is one of the oldest projects on Ethereum. It's a platform to build DAOs and the team is from Spain (obviously with this name!). It's the most mature platform right now and it will enable many communities to form and manage everything from where the funds go to voting to governance using it.
