I believe this is adjacent, but I quite like https://asoftmurmur.com/. I’m not sure if it’s able to run offline. - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago
This isn't music per say, but do you know about A Soft Murmur? Source: 6 months ago
A Soft Murmur lets you create custom ambient sounds to improve your focus or relax while working. Mix sounds like rain, thunder, and birdsong to create your perfect background noise. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
There are a few white noise generator apps actually and I love them. https://asoftmurmur.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
If it gets insufferable, play some white noise in the background, like rain or wind noises, at the very least, it'll distract you from the ringing. https://asoftmurmur.com (something like this ig). You might want to consult an ENT specialist too. Source: 12 months ago
But sometimes I just can’t have music, or don’t wine with that at all. Sometimes a surprisingly good thing is some background noise like rain and thunder, like this one with a few adjustable soundscapes. https://asoftmurmur.com/. Source: 12 months ago
Or https://asoftmurmur.com/ which is a custom white noise maker like waves, rain, wind, etc. Source: about 1 year ago
I also liked using https://asoftmurmur.com for how it cut through a lot of anxiety with white noise like rain sounds etc. Source: about 1 year ago
The URL is very interesting :)) As someone with ADHD, I think that simplicity is key when it comes to ADHD-friendly tools. I love the the simplicity of the app. However, one feature that I think is particularly helpful for ADHD users is the option to play ambient sounds during the work sessions. I used to use https://asoftmurmur.com/ for ambient sounds but it's not a Pomodoro timer. Just found http://pomoup.com/... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
You might see if https://asoftmurmur.com/ works for you—it has the advantage of being wallpaper without unexpected elements; and not being interrupted by e.g. commercials. I use it for white noise when sleeping in hotel rooms etc. I can attest to the fact that it's constant and consistent. Source: about 1 year ago
I've also used https://asoftmurmur.com/ which is pretty good for the background, though sadly their mobile phone app isn't as good as the website... Source: about 1 year ago

Added to this is that I also have fairly loud tinnitus, so complete quiet is often worse for me than a little bit of noise. Occasionally I will use something like https://asoftmurmur.com/ when I just need background noise, but nothing that might steal my attention. Source: over 1 year ago
