Why our public status pages are better than others?
We rely on the combination of both automated checks and user reported issues. Quite often, purely automated uptime monitoring cannot provide the full picture.
How often do you check if a service is down?
If there are reported issues or interest in a specific service, we might check as frequently as every minute. However, we may check less frequently for services with less interest or fewer reported issues. For example, once every hour.
What is the best way to report an issue?
The easiest way to report an issue is to use the single-click light-yellow buttons at the top of this page. They represent the most common issues and are the fastest way to report an issue. Nevertheless, you can also use the 'Report an Issue' button or link at the top to report any issue you may have with the service. Also, you are more than welcome to use the comments box and discuss any tips, solutions or resolutions with the community.
What is "Uptime Monitoring" and do you track it?
Service Uptime Monitoring is a service that checks the availability of a website or service. It can be used to monitor the uptime and downtime of a website or service. Yes, we do track it, but we also rely on user reported issues to provide the most accurate status. Some of the benefits are: Early detection of service disruptions; Better communication with users; Increased reliability.
SaaSHub's Down Detector checks the status of services automatically and regularly. However, we cannot promise 100% accuracy. That is why we depend on user reported issues as well. The SpiderOak status here can help you determine if there is a global outage and SpiderOak is down for everyone or if it is just you who is experiencing problems. Please report any issues to help others know the current status.
So, service came up on 3/2/24. OneBackup uploaded changed files on 3/2/24 and then on scheduled 1:00 AM 3/3/24. On 3/4/24 at noon I checked to see if the 1:00 AM backup had processed. Found it was in process still at noon. I looked at the Activity Tab, since the Completed tab showed the files from 3/2/24 and 3/3/24. The Activity Tab had a number of files listed with "finalizing next to them. It was hung without completed. I just happened to receive an email from support that day asking if I had any existing problems. Of course I replied that I did. That was on 3/4/24 at 1:00 PM. Have not heard back from them, as of 3/5/24 at 4:30 PM EST. And the upload is still finalizing.
I agree with Robert Horton's statement. No response from their help, no online login, and no functioning SpiderOak binaries. Thus, SpiderOak One is unavailable.
Same as others. Service went down last Thursday night. I received a message about an outage that should last about five hours. Nothing since. No reply from support when I entered a ticket.
I second what Robert Horton mentioned. No reply from their support, no web login, no SpiderOak binaries working. SpiderOak One is therefore down
SpiderOak's system has not been reachable since they announce maintance last Thursday, 2/22/24. On 2/23/24 SpiderOak One Backup running on both my Mac's cannot connect with their servers. I tried logging in to my account on their site and it reject's my password. Problems still exist as of 8:15 PM on 2/26/27. I sent them a message on 2/23/24 and again on 2/24/24 and have not had a response from them.
