The California Public Utilities Commision has been notified regarding the "outage". This is a service promoted by AARP, VFW, Best Buy, etc. Many elderly and disabled DEPEND upon this service for their well being, and this is unacceptable.

My brother in a nursing home has not had service for a week. At first he could call us but we couldn’t call him. Now he cannot use the phone at all. I spent an hour on the phone with Lively yesterday and they confirmed it was a network issue, not the phone. We have yet to get any resolution. I’m thinking we may have to switch carriers

I have been without cell phone service for six days. Lively is putting out no statements regarding why this is happening or for how long. There is something very wrong and irresponsible about this.

About 4 hours ago, the Minnesota Star Tribune published an article regarding the Lively phone outage and speculated on how/why this occured. What a fiasco. This has left many people in California without a communications means during one of the worst storms in recent history. SOMEBODY needs to be held accountable! Time for Capitol Hill to step in...

My lively phone has been down since January 3. Is this cause for a law suit?

Contacted Nick at Lively on Friday. He said old Jitterbug phones are affected. They are sending an updated phone out.

When will the lively flip phone service be restored? It has now been three days. Why have we not been given constant updates?

Our Jitterbug phone us currently without service. We contacted Lively's customer service department who told us they are aware of the outage and are working to get the system back up and running. We have been without service for 3 days so far.

Did they give you a ETA on when it would be up? My grandfather's Jitterbug has said "No Service" for 3 days now.

Status Check FAQ

Why our public status pages are better than others?

We rely on the combination of both automated checks and user reported issues. Quite often, purely automated uptime monitoring cannot provide the full picture.

How often do you check if a service is down?

If there are reported issues or interest in a specific service, we might check as frequently as every minute. However, we may check less frequently for services with less interest or fewer reported issues. For example, once every hour.

What is the best way to report an issue?

The easiest way to report an issue is to use the single-click light-yellow buttons at the top of this page. They represent the most common issues and are the fastest way to report an issue. Nevertheless, you can also use the 'Report an Issue' button or link at the top to report any issue you may have with the service. Also, you are more than welcome to use the comments box and discuss any tips, solutions or resolutions with the community.

What is "Uptime Monitoring" and do you track it?

Service Uptime Monitoring is a service that checks the availability of a website or service. It can be used to monitor the uptime and downtime of a website or service. Yes, we do track it, but we also rely on user reported issues to provide the most accurate status. Some of the benefits are: Early detection of service disruptions; Better communication with users; Increased reliability.

SaaSHub's Down Detector checks the status of services automatically and regularly. However, we cannot promise 100% accuracy. That is why we depend on user reported issues as well. The Lively status here can help you determine if there is a global outage and Lively is down for everyone or if it is just you who is experiencing problems. Please report any issues to help others know the current status.
