You could use a script like undiscord - it will essentially go through and delete your messages one-by-one. Might take a while. Source: 11 months ago
You can download this script and run it. All the info is there: https://github.com/victornpb/undiscord. Source: 12 months ago
Undiscord will do it. Needs tampermonkey addon, so you have to log in to Discord on a web browser. It does take awhile, especially if you have many many messages it can take hours to run through them all. But you just push the button and off it goes. Source: 12 months ago
I want to suggest to people that they periodically choose to mass delete their own messages from DMs and servers using this browser-based extension: https://github.com/victornpb/undiscord. Source: about 1 year ago
Note that when you delete your Discord account Discord will not delete your messages and they will stay on their servers forever. You need to use a script like this to do that yourself. Source: about 1 year ago
Lemmy is like Reddit and here because it has threaded comment discussions. It's also federated, so you can pick a server you like and have discussions with users from various servers together. https://join-lemmy.org/ Some Reddit apps switched to supporting Lemmy instead when they were kicked off the API. - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago

The entire page is based on Lemmy (https://join-lemmy.org/). I disabled a ton of features and interface parts, as IMO the original lemmy interface is super noisy. Runs on bare-metal with docker-compose. For the facelift, just good old CSS :). - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
