Namecheap's answer
PorkBun's answer:
Based on our record, Namecheap should be more popular than PorkBun. It has been mentiond 170 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Check porkbun.com, namesilo.com, then namecheap.com. They offer most but not all TLDs but each offers a few the other doesn't. There are some that none of them offer so you can try GoDaddy but they're pricey. Those three are among your best bets for long term low pricing. Source: 6 months ago

I would like to setup a small server at home. Prior to doing this, I needed to move my DNS records from Namecheap. I am planning on using Cloudflare's free plan to host my DNS and also front the services once I have migrated the zone first. - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
After brainstorming some domains you should go to a domain registrar website like namecheap.com and check the availability of your desired domains. If your top pick was already taken, don't stress, this happened to me too and to many other website creators. - Source: dev.to / 10 months ago

One thing you will need to do for yourself is buy the domain name. There are lots of good places. I’ve been a fan of Porkbun and Namesilo. I don’t think there’s a huge difference for which registrar you use, but I like these because they offer WHOIS privacy and email forwarding at no extra charge on top of their already low prices. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
One domain I have had for over 20 years was originally purchased with GoDaddy. I then transferred to Google Domains when that opened up for supposedly better integration with Google Workspace. 218,691 registered domains. [1] $3M/month. M as in million, not mille [2]? Mille is still commonly used in accounting [3] $36M/year is $164.61 per registered domain per year. Porkbun [4] offer .ai $72.40/year. Even 3 letter domains don't seem to have premium pricing. Something in this unsourced tweet, literally, doesn't add up.
