I booked an expensive package holiday on lastminute.com using a credit card yesterday for next March. Only when I got the confirmation today do I realise that many details were not what I thought they were (checked luggage not included, domestic transfers not included). Contacted Ryanair, they said it is already done, and I do not need to do it anymore. Now I am stuck in an endless loop and nobody is able to resolve the case. I was told several different stories, depending on the agent who is available through their chat system. One agent told me they tried to contact me once, and because I did not take the call, they could not proceed with the change that was already agreed via... Source: 10 months ago
A week later I received another email telling me my departure flight (Lufthansa) is now also cancelled and I would receive a refund. Some booking websites allow you to search specifically for hostels. I just took a quick glance, and expedia.com allows it. Booking.com doesn't appear so, but maybe I missed something. Source: about 1 year ago
Whatever safe bed you can find at this point. You've left it too late to be picky and it's looking like it's going to be the start of the the busiest, boomiest tourist season here in Italy ever. Expect to have to stay very, very, very far from city centers and transit connections or to pay $400+/night on a place. Don't be picky, just start looking now at both AirBnb and hotels (booking.com or expedia.com are the... Source: about 1 year ago
