I have created Easypanel [1] to make it easier for developers to self-host applications. However, non-developer people started to use it for deploying open-source apps. Last week, I played a bit with easypanel.io and that really intrigued me as a potentially viable alternative, but from what I saw, it requires a fresh server. It will not import existing images from when I tested it. So this may be a good option if I some day wipe my primary server (I am currently running OMV for my boot so I have the NFS Shares). However you quickly reach the limits of what Umbrel can do, its very basic in its abilities. Of course it depends all on what you (or anyone else) wants to do with it. There is also CasaOS which is very similar to Umbrel but last I compared, Casa offered a bit more features like for example adding your own docker projects easily.
