Just how to access these results if they're paywalled -- will depend. If you've got access to a university library, and some public libraries, you'll be able to access most academic journals. Some journals are open access, but there may be a few that you can't. Though I don't encourage it, the last resort if you can't find any other way to access a paywalled article is Sci Hub (they're not a search engine, you have to know the document locator for the particular article you're interested in).
