I use Zoomit and then take a snip of what I draw with that. Useful for making a quick instructional screenshot. Source: about 1 year ago
Look into ZoomIt. I used to use this before annotations got better in MS Teams. Https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/zoomit. Source: about 1 year ago
So, there are options for you, if you use windows an easy option is the Microsoft tool ZoomIT found here. Source: about 1 year ago
On Windows you can use the built-in magnifier program to zoom into the screen or use ZoomIt. I constantly zoom in and out for plugins. Or if you have the space, get a second 1080p monitor and drag windows into it when you want them to be bigger. Source: over 1 year ago
Not with Magnifier, but you can use ZoomItt in live mode to zoom in a single monitor. Source: over 1 year ago
ZoomIt is close to what I'm looking for, and everything you do with ZoomIt is done with hotkeys that are interchangeable. However, the way it works is it takes a screenshot of the screen, and then you draw on that, so if you stop drawing you can't actually navigate anywhere without exiting out of your drawing. (I want the drawing to stay on the screen when I am done drawing). Source: over 1 year ago
I still don't get why we don't have this: there are plenty of easy and simple ways to draw on a screen on top of a replay, or of a capture of a replay if you are doing a segment. Here's one made by windows done https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/zoomit. Source: almost 2 years ago
I haven't tried it, but maybe ZoomIt will work? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/zoomit. Source: almost 2 years ago
Loved the stream u/KBrot. If you are streaming from a windows machine, you should check out this annotation tool: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/zoomit. Source: almost 2 years ago
Have not used it, but I think ZoomIt from Sysinternals had such option. Source: almost 2 years ago
You might also check out ZoomIt, which is a small utility primarily for presentations, but has a simple full screen 2x Magnification function that works quite well. Source: about 2 years ago
You can use Magnifier or ZoomIt, or hide sticky toolbars in uBlock Origin, or enable text-only zoom. Source: about 2 years ago
Mouse utilities - Find My Mouse: Improved functionality to activate when user double click time configuration is set above 100ms. - Find My Mouse: Fixed display on all virtual desktops as opposed to only the virtual desktop where it was created. - Find My Mouse: New settings to enable a lot more customization based on your feedback. - Minor UI tweaks for fluent icons, appearance, Ctrl usage, and utility... ZoomIt from Microsoft sounds like it will do what you want. Source: about 3 years ago
However there are some programs that may be what you're looking for. They're usually called "desktop annotation tools" or something similar. EpicPen (https://epic-pen.com) and ZoomIt (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/zoomit) are examples and may be close enough to what you want. Source: about 3 years ago
