  I have been using regular(?) youtube-dl on Windows for a while; I use it as a regular cmd tool. I usually look at the releases on this page. As mentioned in that stickied thread, the original yt-dl hasn't made a new release since 2021. However, I'm confused if there will be releases in the future?
