  • When does UoPeople Issue Moodle Passwords?
The upcoming term will be my first at UoPeople. When I login to the portal site (, I see an invitation to 'Begin Orientation'. When I click on that, I'm brought to a page ( which I gather is the Moodle logon screen) and it I'm prompted for a User ID (which I now have) and a password which I don't have. Source: 8 months ago
  • I can't register!!!! I recived an email and it said " To begin your studies at UoPeople, you must participate in orientation. Since you did not participate in orientation by the deadline, you will not be beginning your studies in January 2023. In order to start your studies in April 2023"

2- If you received the login credentials, login to, using the credentials they provided. Go to Payments > Payments History. You should see a confirmation that the $60 admission fee was paid. If it's not there, give it 48-72 business hours. The site is often undergoing maintenance and it can be slow to see the update at times. Source: about 2 years ago

  • Electives level limits?
On the university's website (, there is a section named "Academic Achievements" and under it, there is a subsection named "Degree audit report". You can use it to see how many courses you need to take to graduate. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Despite extreme circumstances, I was not allowed to withdraw from my course 5 hours past deadline. Just not pay?
In week 4, I decided to withdraw, but when I finally went to , it was already a few hours past the withdrawal deadline, so I was not allowed. I contacted my personal advisor, who, long story short, stated there was nothing I could do except continue with the course, because internet irregularities and sickness are not enough to justify a "late withdrawal".
