My questions: (1)Will employers even consider candidates without degrees? (2)I also have a fear of automation by AI. There is a website called WillRobotsTakeMyJob which shows how much vulnerable any job is. And a programmer scores around 50%. So sounds pretty risky. (3)Should I be considering any other fields related to computers? ( I know this is something that depends on a person's interest but asking because I... Source: 9 months ago

I'm wonder about that Data Science, with all automated model training, it's plausible that it will be replaced anytime soon? Also, you would like to check this page: will robots take my job. Source: over 1 year ago
There is some good news from what I've researched however: a site called https://willrobotstakemyjob.com/ and other similar sites have compiled user poll data and statistical data to predict which jobs are most and least likely to be automated in the future. According to these sites' rankings, careers in occupational therapy, psychology, counseling, ministry, nursing, teaching, HR management, and others are all... Source: over 1 year ago
There's a really useful site called https://willrobotstakemyjob.com/ that uses statistics, user poll data, and information mined online to determine which jobs have the most and least likelihood of being automated over the next few years. Source: over 1 year ago

Any work that requires routine, repetition, and manual manipulation. This is because these can then be automated and will be replaced with more effective and efficient machines. For example: factory jobs, clerical / secretarial jobs, some accounting jobs especially bookkeeping, etc. You can also check this website for some dystopian work futures: https://willrobotstakemyjob.com. But this is where the economic head rears it's ugly snout. If we can use A.I./robots to manage Patriot missile batteries, we can use it to flip hamburgers. Obama (yes, THE GREAT OBAMA) forecast that by 2024 up to 80% of those making $20 an hour or less (2015 dollars) may be displaced by A.I./robotics. But these aren't the only demographic at risk. I think UX is going to be pretty future proof. As tech such as AR evolves there’s going to be even more stuff that needs UX or relies on interactivity. There’s a website called Will Robots Take My Job that shows the risk for each job title. It doesn’t have UX on there but graphic design is low at 4%. I know it’s not the same but it is similar in a lot of ways. Source: over 1 year ago
Yes, that's an actual site, willrobotstakemyjob.com. You punch in your job and it tells you if robots will take that job. And it doesn't just say "yes" to everything -- if you believe robots will take all the jobs *eventually* you could do that. No, instead it gives you an "automation risk" score that represents the odds robots will do the job in the next 20 years. In the estimation of the people who run the site.... Source: over 1 year ago
