I would suggest using waze.com from wherever you currently are over the next few days. At the time you expect you would actually leave Alexandria for Chantilly, use waze.com's "Live Map" feature to see the route. It will show you a remarkably accurate estimate of the best route and the time it will take. It will also show you a couple of alternatives. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
If you want to get pretty accurate actual times for your commute, after next Tuesday (when traffic is getting back to normal levels after the holidays), use waze.com AT THE TIME you would commute to view their "live map" of the trip. It will show you a pretty accurate estimate of the time it would take right then. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
We are updating Waze with live closures and detours. - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
Closest thing I could find on the internet is this tweet from @Waze_BW (German group of regional volunteer map editors). They mention an issue with personal points not being shown when logged in to waze.com. Not exactly our issue, but it is probably related to no points being shown in the App either. - Source: Reddit / 6 months ago
It takes some discipline, but use waze.com's "Live Map" at the time(s) you're thinking you'd be commuting. It won't show you a range, but what the actual time would be. It also shows you times of alternate routes. - Source: Reddit / 9 months ago
How long is a piece of string? :-) Try waze.com and put source & destinations at different times to check it out. Midrand to Sandton used to take me 25 minutes when I started at 0545 so sunninghill to Sandton would be similar times if you take freeway/rivonia road. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
Can also pull up waze.com live map during that time of day to see what traffic is like at that particular moment. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
Look at the link, use "waze.com" and paste your coordinate. Better, use Waze share bottom. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
Yeah I agree that it's lazy design. You might try logging in directly on the website. How do you normally log into the app? Like do you use a Google account or a normal user name? - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
This has to be enabled in the permissions of Waze (something like "permission to handle links from waze.com"), but that should be the case by default. - Source: Reddit / almost 2 years ago
