  • Please move away from Amazon for Tuta's Domain Name System
A look at tuta.com and tutanota.com demonstrates that Tuta is using an Amazon Start of Authority (SOA) DNS record and 4 corresponding Amazon Name Server (NS) DNS records. Source: 3 months ago
  • Is there a place to suggest software you'd like to be on the AUR? If not, let it be here!
I've moved on to Ferdium by the way via the ferdium-electron AUR package. I also use Tuta, Skiff, Google Messages and YouTube Music with it. Source: 3 months ago
  • Can't access new website
Unfortunately, since you launched the new tuta.com website, I can't access anymore from China, unless I have a VPN service. Source: 3 months ago
  • Change current email from Tutanota to tuta
Have a non business paid account. Can you change your current tutanota.com email to the tuta.com email? Source: 4 months ago
  • troubles after tutanota became tuta..now cannot log in
Weeks ago when tutanota became tuta I had same issues...wouldnt allow me log in. I clicked links provided by tuta to "migrate" data...never worked. Few days later...i was able to log in at https://mail.tutanota.com/login and continued until today, when my credentials were not "valid" anymore so tried at tuta.com and same thing. • So far 2023 has been great! 😍 Introduction of short domain (tuta.com), unlimited aliases for custom domains, shared mailboxes, family plan. What was your favorite feature in 2023?
FWIW, I haven't changed my email to tuta.com. I kept keemail.me (it sounds like "email me"). Source: 4 months ago
  • ⟳ 4 apps added, 121 updated at f-droid.org
Tutanota (version 3.118.4): Encrypted email & calendar service - easy to use, secure by design. Source: 6 months ago
  • New e-mail account on hold for 5 days now (48 hours long expired)
My dad and my sister who both have an e-mail account at tutanota.com have advised me to have a try and see if I would like it too. Last week Wednesday I have signed up for an account myself and now after 5 days and me receiving the message "Your account will normally automatically be approved after 48 hours" my new account is still unusable. • No new Frontier email accounts?
Look into Proton mail or tutanota for security and isp independent! Source: 8 months ago
  • What’s the best free email service in your opinion?
I am currently using Tutanota, I've got no issues so far. It is a good start for free, open-source and have the option for you to add YubiKey as your 2FA(U2F/WebAuthn). Source: 9 months ago
  • ⟳ 3 apps added, 54 updated at f-droid.org
Tutanota (version 3.112.15): Encrypted email & calendar service - easy to use, secure by design. Source: 10 months ago
  • Proton Mail down. Again.
This is unacceptable, we should have a free month or more at the very least. I am honestly considering switching to Tutanota now. They have better encryption too for half the fee, haven't heard of any outages either. Source: 11 months ago
  • Protonmail is down in EU region
If you pay allot for the service, you might want to consider the more transparent alternatives like Tutanota or SimpleLogin for reliability reasons. Also Lavabit is back as an option for those who need a provider that goes above and beyond to defend your data. Source: 11 months ago
  • Domain statistics
Apart from taste, there are some obvious differences. A .com ending is the most standard and the best known. It's easy to spell and unlikely to be rejected by websites because of its ending. If you don't want people to know right from the start that you use Tutanota for privacy reasons, keemail.me is the one to choose. If you want to signal that you are German, choose tutanota.de. If you fear websites blacklisting... Source: 11 months ago
  • Support needed. I created a new free Tutanota account and then some problems started
Next problem was when I wanted to use my tutanota.com address to add as my recovery email from a few protonmail accounts. Verification email went straight to spam and I couldn't find any "not Spam" button. Just moved them to inbox but second verification still went to spam folder. Source: 11 months ago
  • Cash payments in foreign currencies (AUD, BGN, CAD, CHF, CNY, CZK, DKK, GBP, ISK, JPY, NOK, NZD, PLN, RON, RSD, SEK, TWD, USD)
With built-in encryption and open source code, Tutanota claims to be the world''s most secure email provider. Each gift card is a web address. We are an official reseller of Tutanota. Source: 12 months ago
  • Unable to access mail.tutanota or login to my account on any of my devices.
This issue started around April 2nd. I have a paid account and am able to access https://tutanota.com/. Source: 12 months ago
  • Should I use an anonaddy alias for my bitwarden login, or just use my main email adress?
You want to be sure you always have access to your email. I'd spend a few bucks, buy a domain and point it towards an inexpensive provider like mailbox.org, tutanota.com or protonmail.com. Source: 12 months ago
  • So much promise, so little delivery.....
I use Tutanota (secure email based in Germany) with my family and find it pretty neat (was testing Fastmail before, but never really got hooked bc I prefer open source tools). The pricing is decent, it starts with 1 euro per family member/month - if you have more domains, it's 2. Source: 12 months ago
  • How to Create an Anonymous Email: A Step-by-Step Guide
The first step in creating an anonymous email is choosing a provider that values your privacy. Some of the most popular anonymous email providers include ProtonMail, Tutanota, and Hushmail. These providers offer end-to-end encryption, meaning that only the sender and recipient can read the message. Source: 12 months ago
  • Can't access my account
I tried checking my email today, but tutanota.com says my login credentials are invalid. I can't request a recovery code since I need the password to do so. I haven't changed my password in a few months, and it's saved in my browser, so I'm entering the right password. Source: about 1 year ago
