Purchased a Tesla wall connector, and based on the very good advice given here, knew I needed to get multiple quotes for installation. Went to tesla.com to find a list of authorized electricians. Got quotes from 2 (tried for 3, but the 3rd never showed up). 60A breaker, ~ 50ft of conduit, I already have the connector. - Source: Reddit / 11 days ago
Yes, I am in the US. I took the prices from tesla.com right now (including any discount for inventory models) and added the destination fee of $1380. It looks like there may be a slightly lower priced Model Y, but it's still $51,990 plus $1380. Nothing like $47k. The RWD Model 3 doesn't have enough range. - Source: Reddit / 20 days ago
Within 200 miles of NYC the cheapest Model S at tesla.com is a 2018 at $49,800...only thing sub 35k is a 2020 model 3 sr. - Source: Reddit / 22 days ago
Only available on tesla.com and requires a service center visit to install. - Source: Reddit / 22 days ago
I've only seen tesla.com. TMC prices are better? Had to remind myself I'm also getting 7.5k from California, so I'm paying 47 - 11.5k = $35.5k for a new SR. But if TMC is beating tesla used by a chunk, it might be worth checking out. - Source: Reddit / 23 days ago
Nope. Read the court case. Tesla wasn't called Tesla, and Elon himself bought the tesla.com domain name. They also didn't even have a prototype car. - Source: Reddit / 23 days ago
PS initially I was not able to order the official external adapter from Tesla, but once a software update occurred, naturally I was able to then order the external CCS adapter from tesla.com. - Source: Reddit / 28 days ago
If you look at existing inventory on tesla.com you will sometimes see the LR AWD Model 3 listed. Supply is weird, so it's not a guarantee you'll see it there. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
Who really knows if you can profit $4k on a Kona right now, but a brand new base Model 3 is $40k right now vs $30k for a used one with nearly 50k on the odo (and less range) on tesla.com, which to me is just insane. Why would anyone pay that much for a used Tesla? But the demand is certainly there for Tesla to price their used Model 3s so high. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
If so, have you asked them for a quote? (it's free on tesla.com and you can do it yourself in just minutes). - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
?? 0 down, financed right now is $700 a month via tesla.com Paying $2k a month is an absolute ripoff. Why would you waste $24k annually when you can pay $700 a month and eventually, I don't know, OWN THE CAR? - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
I have the tesla.com used listings page up now and there are 29 used Model 3 Teslas in range of my zip code. 12 are with basic autopilot, 8 have enhanced autopilot, and 9 have FSD enabled. So it doesn't look like they're removing FSD. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
Short answer: I installed one of these for a guy a few years ago. It looks like they did what the tesla.com photo shows. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
Reuters said Nio’s first battery plant will make 4680 cylindrical battery cells similar to those used by Tesla, citing insiders. It will be located next to its main manufacturing hub in Hefei city, in eastern China’s Anhui province. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
The parts for the homelink moduled because I want to DIY it instead of buying the $350 from tesla.com and having them install it. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
I purchased a 2019 Tesla Model 3 Dual Motor Long Range with 23K miles from tesla.com, still have 5 months of original warranty and an additional year of warranty for used cars purchased from tesla.com. The car was listed with 310 miles range, however, after charging full (100%), it shows 284 miles and with 90% charge, it shows 256 miles. I wonder if this means the car has lost 9% of its battery life in first 3 yrs... - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
So it turns out my statement, and the statement from your first source is correct. So now then. Do you believe it to be so, when even tesla.com says the same? You have now provided two sources that say that Tesla only thinks it is fair that other companies can use their patents if Tesla can use all their patents and intelectual property. Accodring to both Teslas own site and that other one you gave. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
Thank you. Guess I looked at the contract on tesla.com and not the app itself. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
I will get the car next week and would like to find it out. I saw somewhere on tesla.com where the different models were compared and it was shown that it has a max 150kwh charging and the other models have 250. I don't remember the exact webpage where it was and cannot find it. Also I did not find any information about this on any other website. Neither in any yt videos. I think it can be true but a doubt it a... - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
