Hello everyone. Recently, I'm trying to make a web interface for tModLoader. Which is a mod loader for Terraria. I did almost 80% of the work and this is my project client and server. But because of my limited knowledge about golang I am confused by some technical difficulties. I can't put a complicated question in reddit or stackoverflow. So I really need someone to perfect this project with me. You can find me... Source: 10 months ago

So, I downloaded the dedicated server file from terraria.org and was able to host a server. My problem is I can't figure where to place a pre existing world file I have that I want to host it. I don't actually have terraria installed on the computer I'm hosting through and so the the usual MacOS path ~/Library/Application Support/Terraria/Worlds isn't there. Could anyone tell where to place the world files so I... Source: about 1 year ago
Terraria and Starbound (also great titles to play) is a pixel RPG adventure with build elements. Most of it is focused on the adventure/RPG with the building being a minor element to the game. Source: about 1 year ago
Steam is the first thing that came up when I searched "Terraria for PC"? Heck, it's the 2nd thing when I type just Terraria, the first being the official website. Odd, but yeah I do recommend Steam. The game goes on sale for 50% not too rare there as well. Source: about 1 year ago
It used to be the if you did the Konami code (up up down down left right left right b a enter) on the terraria.org website blue slimes would start jumping across the screen. When I try to do that now nothing happens. Source: about 1 year ago
It should say at the bottom of this website "PC dedicated servers". If you don't have a pc and are on ipad this may not be possible. Make sure the client you download is for you version of terraria as I don't know if everything is on 1.4.3. Source: over 1 year ago
I've already set up my router for port forwarding and downloaded the zip files from https://terraria.org/. The files programs don't do anything and I don't know where to go from here. I also use Bluestacks on my PC and want to set up my PC as the server to my family can play online. Please assist as I can't find any explanation that works for such a basic need. They have a server app in terraria.org at the bottom of the page , and you can host it. Youll just have to learn about port forward to have ppl join over the internet besides local network. Source: over 1 year ago
Start at the 'set up your network' then do the part in the link. Its really as easy as 1) download the server files from terraria.org 2) run the server program 3) set up your router 4) use your public IP address to let people join. Source: over 1 year ago

Hi everyone, I built Terradex because I could not find a way to view a catalog of all the 5000+ items in a game called Terraria. The wiki had a list of item names, but no images. So I decided to make my own. Source: about 2 years ago
