  • Students who feel like they aren't learning English well enough/quickly?
    I tell them they need to watch short videos, say from ed.ted.com, then do 30 mins of reading English, reading out loud to themselves. I say do this daily and ask about words unknown, or contexts, and see what happens. The ones who really want to learn come back speaking better english, after a while of course.   • I hate to say this, but my school blocked YouTube (even on personal devices). They also changed our Google region from Canada to Germany, which is weird because we're in Canada. Anyway, enjoy YouTube at your school while you can because it may be blocked soon.
