There may be better places, since I've just stuck to the same one for years now (and don't need them often enough to look into alternatives), but I usually use either subscene or opensubtitles. There are also programs that can automate it like bazarr, but it requires you to also use Sonarr/Radarr. Source: 9 months ago
Have you checked these ones? Https://subscene.com/ Https://subdl.com/. Source: 10 months ago
Could check sites like opensubtitles.org or subscene.com, where users can upload subtitles. Source: 10 months ago
Use https://subscene.com/ and they are in srt format which is what every media player uses. Source: 11 months ago
Https://subscene.com seems pretty good. Source: 11 months ago
In a pinch, you could always get your own subtitles (lots of subtitle sites out there; I usually check subscene.com first.) Then get a stand-alone subtitle player and you can run the subs as a transparent mask over the streaming show. I use Mac & found a free app I like called PenguinSubtitlePlayer app. Source: about 1 year ago
You’ll have to download the subtitle again and load it in the player. Source: about 1 year ago
Also, if you can find SRT text subtitles those will take up less space than Bluray's PGS subtitles. I would look on subscene.com. You can also generate SRT subs with your Bluray PGS subtitles using a subtitle OCR application, but handbrake can't do this on its own. Subtitles don't matter as much as sound and video for size, but each subtitle track can take hundreds of megabytes on a Bluray, so it is worth checking... Source: about 1 year ago
You can drag and drop subtitle files (srt) in your target language. I get mine from https://subscene.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
Try https://subscene.com/ this is where I get subtitles. They have Narcos which was a Netflix show so I think you should be able to find others. Source: about 1 year ago
Do you have an idea about where I could find them ? I didn't find anything on subscene.com. Source: about 1 year ago
Plex has a built in subtitle search functionality that gets .srt subs, if you can't find it on there, get them from subscene.com and add them via Plex here: https://i.imgur.com/jD8Zh1Q.png. Source: about 1 year ago
Subscene.com has an amazing community of folks who modify subtitles to correct mistakes and generally improve them. Most popular movies and shows have both hearing impaired and non-HI options in dozens of languages. Source: over 1 year ago
Look no further than Subscene for all of your subtitle needs. Source: over 1 year ago
Https://subscene.com/ is what they said. There is also https://www.opensubtitles.org/. Source: over 1 year ago
Kinda a late reply, but I usually use subscene. I know the japanese Parasite subtitles are on there (i watched it myself with japanese subs!), not sure about the others though. If you torrent, sometimes the japanese subtitles are in the file itself. Source: over 1 year ago
The workaround is to find matching text-based subtitles on subscene.com or opensubtitles.org. Source: over 1 year ago
What you are talking about is typically called Forced Subtitles. If you're doing your own rips, there's usually a separate English subtitle track for this purpose, otherwise you can find them on something like subscene.com (just ctrl+f and look for "forced", in most cases). Source: over 1 year ago
But honestly, check if the subs are on https://subscene.com/ or opensubtitles first though....might be saving you a lot of hassle. If they're ass/ssa you can run them through that other site. Source: over 1 year ago
Opensubtitles and if I don't find it there subscene. Source: over 1 year ago
Since I have mostly been using subscene.com and it works best with the exact name. So I cant have them renamed. Source: over 1 year ago
