  Anyways, https://cordlessdog.com/stay/ is the best one I found. Repositions windows when they launch or monitor connects/disconnects. That sometimes doesn't work when waking up from sleep, so you can set a shortcut to "Restore all windows" to where the app remembered them. Source: over 3 years ago

• Apple, please fix the screen manager, It's been like this for over 9 months. It's like this every time it comes back from sleep mode or being turned off. I've tried everything I can think of to fix it and contacted Apple. i have to re-manage my display settings multiple times a day.

  Remembering window positions is a little trickier. Macos kinda remembers window positions for apps, but it's not 100% reliable. Something like Stay https://cordlessdog.com/stay/ may help with situations when macOS fails to restore the positions properly, but Stay isn't perfect either and also you'd need a few more clicks, first to open the apps with Workspaces and then to restore positions with Stay.
