I work in data analysis (so close enough I hope?) I highly recommend getting good at Microsoft excel (learn how to use pivot tables; index matching and basic formulas. SQL find some online tutorial like sqlzoo: https://sqlzoo.net/wiki/SQL_Tutorial or sqlbot https://sqlbolt.com/ and watch this: https://youtu.be/6VCHuLqfmV8 all you need to know is common table expressions, they look a lot like a let statement in programming meaning you are giving the dbms everything at once and letting it figure out how to optimize the entire sql query. I highly recommend learning SQL first. It will serve as an on-ramp for learning more full-fledged programming languages and it will be useful in its own right, e.g. Working as a data analyst or later on as a programmer comfortable with SQL is a big plus for many teams.
