It seemed really resource intensive/not efficient and my fans were spinning full throttle whenever I used it, so I had to get rid of it.   SpaceDesk is free on Windows. Run it on your PC, then your iPad opens https://viewer.spacedesk.net in Safari in full-screen mode to connect to your PC, to use it as a second monitor. It uses wi-fi so it's slower than a direct cable, but it works. Source: about 3 years ago

  SpaceDesk – APK for Phone – this is probably the best free alternative app to use for your Android Devices the only Cons for this is of some lag that you will feel using wireless second screen but still very usable.
