  Soundtrap.com is a good free site for beat/music making that doesn't require any downloading, it was my default choice for creating audios for a long time. it's for both music and podcasts also and contains a lot of free samples, but you have to pay for many better features.   Best thing I found was "soundtrap.com" which works great on desktop and would be the perfect solution, albeit needing to do a bit of math since their time code in that app isn't too precise. The thing that makes it not so perfect is that it's functionality is close to garbage on mobile, both their app and the in browser version.
