Not just servers but for some games clients too https://runelite.net/. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 months ago
Open source client for OSRS It replaces the normal launcher, and adds all sorts of helpful plugins. Source: 10 months ago
I don't know about the orignal jagex client, but runelite supports linux. You should be able to downlaod it directly from https://runelite.net/. Source: 10 months ago
You also may need to update RuneLite. The client updates automatically regularly, but the launcher never updates. If you installed RuneLite a long time ago RuneLite's launcher may be too outdated to work with the Jagex launcher. Source: 10 months ago
You can set up a login email for the runescape character that is linked to steam, and then log into the game using RuneLite instead. Source: 10 months ago
Old School Runescape. Pretty much everyone is using the Runelite client instead of the official one https://runelite.net/ https://github.com/runelite/runelite. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
The link goes to https://runelite.net/, right? If so, that's fine, and they would have gotten you some other way. Source: 11 months ago
If you're not using a Jagex account yet, you can use the RuneLite appimage on their website https://runelite.net , but even without a Jagex account, I still find the Jagex Launcher handy (I have over 6 accounts I play on lol). Source: 11 months ago
Everybody uses Runelite to run the game and the gpu plug-in found in Runelite’s sidebar. It doesn’t require a very impressive computer at all since the game came out way back in the day - https://runelite.net. Source: 11 months ago
It shouldn't be, do you have something else that might be interfering? Nvidia inspector, rtss, etc? Also are you using the official runelite from https://runelite.net ? Source: 12 months ago
The community mainly uses runelite (runelite.net) you can create a plugin that allows them to upload images from the client. Source: 12 months ago
Yes, but make sure you've downloaded RuneLite either directly from https://runelite.net/ or from the Jagex Launcher, and make sure to only use plugins found in the plugin hub in the client! Source: 12 months ago
Could be a false positive. Did you recently install runelite? If so did you make sure you installed it from runelite.net? To be sure you can go to the osrs main page and they have a link to runelite on the bottom right. Source: 12 months ago
In OSRS, you're also able to use a common third-party client called RuneLite that provides access to many community-made plugins, including an HD plugin that enables GPU rendering for the game! It's earned a special place in our hearts, as a playerbase, and I thought to mention it :). Source: about 1 year ago
RuneLite itself has a download option labeled "Apple Silicone": https://runelite.net/. Source: about 1 year ago
Just download RuneLite 64 bit and install it. The launcher uses whatever is installed. https://runelite.net/. Source: about 1 year ago
Highly recommend using https://runelite.net/ as your client to play the game, the "official" client isn't too good nowadays. There's also an official android and iOS app which is amazing. Source: about 1 year ago
I don't believe this is the case, unfortunately. I checked the download URL from yesterday and it matches the URL I get when I download from https://runelite.net. Source: about 1 year ago
By any chance could you have mistakenly downloaded a hacked runelite client? From which the attacker then captured your login information as you played, then used your account to bot with until it got banned. Seems unlikely since it's a brand new account, but it's worth making sure: Check your browser history and ensure you got it from https://runelite.net/ and not a fake site. Source: about 1 year ago
Runelite is amazing and you can find a link to download it from the official oldschool runescape webpage. There is an imposter version so make sure you only download from runelite.net. Source: about 1 year ago
Runelite (https://runelite.net) enables you to do so, fwiw. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
