  Honestly I use to do this at an old job and in college jobs. Download https://github.com/michael-lazar/rtv and use reddit in the terminal. Then when people pass by the won't complain because most people see the terminal and immediately think your doing high end technical stuff. I also use to do a lot of Udemy tutorials while bored.   Dude, I'm an I.T and I know my way around linux, bash and most terminal stuff, I've even browsed reddit through a terminal and it's WAY better than the old crappy design. You can't justify a bad UX with "It'S fOr PoWeR uSeRs". It's not UI vs CLI, reddit is a website, not a distro. Source: almost 3 years ago
