  • Q&A: Why is Programmer Humor shutting down?
Which one? There's cortex and cReddit and reddio and rttt and rtv and tuir. Source: 11 months ago
  • I got my first IT job and Finished tickets early how do you guys pass the time
Honestly I use to do this at an old job and in college jobs. Download https://github.com/michael-lazar/rtv and use reddit in the terminal. Then when people pass by the won't complain because most people see the terminal and immediately think your doing high end technical stuff. I also use to do a lot of Udemy tutorials while bored. Source: over 1 year ago
  • do you reddit from the commandline?
I used rtv for Solène's "Old Computer Challenge" and it was passable. The project has gone fallow, supplanted by tuir, so that's where I'd turn today. Source: over 1 year ago
  • its finally here
OP's video is actually about RTV. TUIR is more recent, but sadly both are abandoned. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • I've used only linux. i.e I've never used any other operating systems. Ask me anything.
There's rtv. The original project is now archived, but it is still very usable. Source: over 2 years ago
  • ULPT Request - What is a good way to slack off at work and fly under the radar?
You don't know about Reddit as Outlook, or the Reddit terminal version? Source: over 2 years ago
  • What are some neat and useful CLI programs?
Reddit client: rtv (abandoned but still works). Source: over 2 years ago
  • Reddit client
I used rtv a few years back. Doesn’t look like it’s been updated recently but neither has old.reddit.com…. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Is it me or is Reddit buggy AF?
Dude, I'm an I.T and I know my way around linux, bash and most terminal stuff, I've even browsed reddit through a terminal and it's WAY better than the old crappy design. You can't justify a bad UX with "It'S fOr PoWeR uSeRs". It's not UI vs CLI, reddit is a website, not a distro. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Why is Reddit on mobile so awfully slow?
Reddit has an API. If you are a developer, you can make whatever interface you want, and make it so it sends the right requests and information to the reddit servers. here's one that runs in the command line. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Introducing Firefox’s new Site Isolation Security Architecture - Mozilla Hacks - the Web developer blog
You can try browsing reddit using RTV. No need for those browsers the terminal can be your browser. Source: almost 3 years ago
