  • Suggestion for identification problem with shipping labels?
^^ [Roboflow](https://roboflow.com) is a good platform to use, as they have [free workspaces available](https://roboflow.com/community) that allow you to house up to 10,000 source images without charge, and also [augment](https://docs.roboflow.com/image-transformations/image-augmentation) and export datasets in [multiple formats](https://roboflow.com/formats) at the click of a button:. • Google Vertex IA training expensive?
Shameless plug: Roboflow is a good alternative; you can train open source models from our library using Google Colab for free, or train and deploy with one-click like in Vertex with Roboflow Train for free if your project is open source (then pay as you go for inference beyond 1000 images/mo). • Applying blur to detected 'person' class in YOLO
From there, create a free workspace on Roboflow to import the face detection dataset, and then you can export in any of these formats and train a custom YOLOv3 model or another model architecture. This will give you a separate face detector model in which you can apply blur to the bounding box (detected face). Source: almost 2 years ago
  • I've seen old posts (like 6/7 years old) about mechanical turks for annotating image sets. Do you find this is still a good resource?
If you want to build out annotating tasks, consider Roboflow as well. This isn't necessarily suited for "cheap" annotations, but more geared to divide up a niche dataset for more expert annotations, but the UX is nice and the API makes it easy to integrate into your model workflow.
