  • An airtasker cut my gasline...
Update... They closed my support ticket that I had open through Source: over 1 year ago
  • Furniture order suddenly put back almost 12 months and unable to get refund.
Don't just accept a frontline agent saying it can't be refunded. Lodge a formal complaint and ask to escalate the issue. May also be worth lodging a case through Good to brush up on your rights under the consumer rights act before hand. If you don't get anywhere with an escalated complaint, then you can decide to embarass them into doing the right thing or investigating whether you can process... Source: over 1 year ago
  • FedEx, are you kidding me?
Some time before when I couldn't reach FedEx support I started a case for FedEx. And they replied to that case that the package is lost. 30 minutes after that they replied to the case that the package has been returned to sender, past perfect. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Thames Water has wrongly billed me
Option 2: Given that they have already said they can't do anything while dealing with you, could just go straight to writing a complaint through Explain the situation and attach your evidence etc. If they don't respond within 30 days then you can escalate it etc. Resolver is helpful at managing this. • Utterly disappointed with how Vanguard have handled my ISA transfer. What are my options?
You need to make an official complaint (or two) before you can contact the FOS. They have 8 weeks to resolve the issue before the FOS will deal with it. will walk you through the process. What you expect them to do beyond pulling their thumbs from their arses is for you to research. HL volunteered £150 for similar. The whole system needs a shake up IMHO, but patience is a virtue. • [Consumer Rights Act 2015] Trader refusing to repair or replace device that failed after 4 months
I have looked at which states I must wait either 56 days or until I get a deadlock letter (whichever comes first) before I can take the case to ADR. Source: about 3 years ago
  • UK Warranty Help
In the UK, Consumer laws protect your device up to 6 years. But except Apple, I do not see many companies state this information on their websites. Someone told me a website called which help consumers to complain. Unfortunately, MS refuse to work with them. But if MS refuse to fix your device for free based on the laws, you can try to get money back by going to... Source: over 3 years ago
