  • I would like to get a feedback for my React.js/Firebase gaming website project
It's been four and a half months since I started learning coding through The Odin Project and I wanted to make a project where I showcase what I've learned so far. I used free api for games data, firebase for backend, redux for state management, framer-motion for animations, formik for forms, tailwind for styling and etc. I still have a lot to learn and because of that I am open to any kind of feedback... - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago

  • Is there any webapp to manage libraries from many clients?
Thank you so much, was kinda what I was looking for, too bad it's missing EpicGames, Origin, uPlay and Twitch library connections. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
  • Tip For Tagging Your Steam Game
Recently I was doing the tags for my game... And no matter what I did I couldn't get the most popular games in the genre to show up under the "tagged like this section." • Scraping multiple variables
Well, as I've in my original post is somewhat considered the IMDB equivalent when it comes to video games. Then there's the STEAM site (which is limited to PC games of course) and appears to be quite good too. Here are the pages for the same game from all three sites. - Source: Reddit / almost 2 years ago
  • Scraping multiple variables
The approach I came up with (again, if there's a better/easier way to deal with this let me know) is using getElementById commands to grab various parts (game description, url of the trailer on Youtube, developer) from their page on sites such as Steam, and (these seem to be the most complete), store them as variables then use them to fill corresponding fields in the program. I do use... - Source: Reddit / almost 2 years ago

  • PlunderBox's Development is on hold due to the developer's school getting in the way and their friend being an ass to them and the Discord.
Developer deleted their reddit account and they changed their name on GitHub as well. If you want something that is "Finished" but still in development, Vapor Store is there on the subreddit megathread, though its currently broken due to its API Key expiring on Vapor Store will be back shortly once everything is fixed. - Source: Reddit / almost 2 years ago
