I'm about to just do a Random.org roll for the 5 builds I'm deciding between. Let RNGesus take the wheel. Source: 5 months ago
I am live on twitch rn and let's play a game tip me in the comments 1000 cones and every 3000 cones tip I will use random.org to choose a winner between the three tippers who will get all of the cones. Do not tip to play if I am offline it will be considered a gift at that point. Source: 5 months ago
Winners will be selected after 1 week using random.org to select winning comments. The winning IDs will be reported to Panoramik and gems will be distributed during the week. Source: 5 months ago
Indicate your interest below and random.org will decide. Source: 6 months ago
Each user will only be granted ONE qualifying top-level comment. I will confirm all qualifying comments with a green "post approved" check mark. Once the deadline has elapsed, I will: 1) double check all entries for duplicates, 2) number all qualifying entries in no particular order, 3) feed that number range into Random.org, 4) generate one random number from that range, 5) match the randomly generated number... Blizzord please stop using random.org to balance your games... Source: 9 months ago
Of course he will be tipped, I was thinking about making a roulette with 1) keep 2) give back 3) give back half Based on how many have been suggested here each and spin it and see where it lands, or just count them up and have random.org decide in which range it goes. Source: 10 months ago
If I spend a month on this how do I know you won't just forget about it and forget the link/file with the numbers? I don't want to waste my time. I want a month because I'll have to take my time to practice on random.org again to be sure when I'm doing your targets I'm not just making them up. Source: 10 months ago
Making this project started with finding out about random.org and thinking, what if I make a library to interact with it while being very simple to use. So I did just that with Atmos. I don't know if it can or should be used with cryptography, but perhaps replacing the use of the "random" library or "secrets" library instead. (For now, At least until someone can help certify that it can be used for cryptography). Source: 10 months ago

I wrote down around 55-60 names of guys I've either really enjoyed (or saw something in that never went anywhere) over the last 15 years or so. I chose 6 teams/stables myself, and I let random.org draft 21 guys from my remaining list for singles (although I could see some of these singles as natural fits for teaming together). I've changed a couple of names/gimmicks as well... Source: 10 months ago
I use Gloomhaven Full Stack to track events. I just use random.org, sort the decks by status (deck or locked) and randomly generate which one to draw. Full Stack automatically removes events that are supposed to be removed when drawn. Source: 10 months ago
Traveling part of the weekend but will try to pull a winner using random.org Saturday evening or some point on Sunday. Source: 10 months ago
You should try to Google RNG, random algorithm and pseudorandomness . Of course a computer can't generate randomness, it just tries to emulate randomness by obfuscating the link between different results. The only way to achieve true randomness is to use some other true random parameters that can't be generated by a computer. For example, the website random.org uses radio receivers to pick up atmospheric noises... Source: 10 months ago

Huh? You need a BP incentive to get you to stop using the same old boring 10-15 perks every single game? I've been using the dennisreep randomized build and even random.org for months/years now just because it's fun. Source: 10 months ago
There's no reasonable threat model that suggests SS13 can be attacked just because it uses MT, nor do I think RNG is actually a significant perf bottleneck for SS13, so I'd say use any RNG you want. At one point I was going to make it use random.org, which is funnier, but they charge money and I found that intimidating. Source: 10 months ago
If you're worried I might recommend random.org, 2d10, or dieroll. Source: 10 months ago
I just used random.org to generate my own random number! Maybe the computers love each other. Source: 10 months ago
