The font is a custom build of Iosevka, which is almost certainly inspired by the commercial font Pragmata Pro (https://fsd.it/shop/fonts/pragmatapro/). When Pragmata Pro was first released a little over 10 years ago, it sold for around $400 (I know this because I and many, many others bought a copy back then). As another commenter points out, you may have some rendering issue. Alternatively, you may just not like... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
In part 1[0] of this series of posts, the author mentions they use Pragmata Pro [1]. [0]: https://arne.me/articles/emacs-from-scratch-part-one-foundations [1]: https://fsd.it/shop/fonts/pragmatapro/. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
My absolute favorite is PragmataPro, it’s a condensed font. This allows you to fit more information horizontally, which super nice for small screen sizes, or vertical splits without making the font size small. Source: 5 months ago
Not OP, but I like PragmataPro [0] by Fabrizio Schiavi and use it in my IDEs. I particularly appreciate his attention to glyphs in languages other than English. [0] https://fsd.it/shop/fonts/pragmatapro/. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
[PragmataPro](https://fsd.it/shop/fonts/pragmatapro/) is a monospaced masterpiece all on its own, but with PragmataPro Fraktur, designer Fabrizio Schiavi is flexing where no one has ever flexed before. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
I use SourceCodePro and had Pragmatapro previously. Source: 11 months ago
It is PragmataPro which is super expensive for the full version and reasonable for the “essential”. I also use nerd fonts. Source: 12 months ago
Just pay the man for PragmataPro[1] and turn off anti-aliasing in Emacs and iTerm. The font is legible and beautiful at every size on any screen. [1]: https://fsd.it/shop/fonts/pragmatapro/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
PragmataPro is an example of such a font. Love it. It comes in a monospaced and duospaced variant. https://fsd.it/shop/fonts/pragmatapro/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
I'll go against the grain by suggesting a pay font: PragmataPro is far and away my favorite font. Source: over 1 year ago
The font is pragmata pro which includes a lot of special symbols. Unfortunately it's a paid font, but there are similar free fonts like https://typeof.net/Iosevka. Source: almost 2 years ago
I don't like it because it tends to combine two distinct characters into one (visually). A great example is '<=' being transformed into '≤' (Pragmata Pro[1] does this) I expect to see two characters, but instead I see one and expect to see a syntax error. These types of sites seems to always be missing my favorite programming font. Pragmata Pro. https://fsd.it/shop/fonts/pragmatapro/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
If you're willing to spend money on a font for coding, then do yourself a favor and take a look at PragmataPro as well. I bought a license (checks notes...) 8 years ago and it has served me very well. If I was not down to pay for a font, then I'd probably use one of Iosevka's forms. Personally, however, it became clear to me that just like my monitor, the font I spend hours looking at every day is also... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
PragmataPro it is paid but it has been great. https://fsd.it/shop/fonts/pragmatapro/. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
In my entirely objective opinion, PragmataPro is the best monospace font there is. Source: over 2 years ago
If you don't like that and dont mind paying there's Pragmata Pro. Source: almost 3 years ago
Not open source or free but I find PragmataPro [0] to be absolutely gorgeous. [0] https://fsd.it/shop/fonts/pragmatapro/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
It's PragmataPro and it's available here https://fsd.it/shop/fonts/pragmatapro/. Costly if you want ligatures, fairly cheap if you don't. Source: almost 3 years ago
