Google has Magenta. https://piano-scribe.glitch.me/ is an application of that. Source: about 1 year ago
It probably was something from https://klangio.com/. There's also this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5U-WL0QvKCg which seems to be open source. And this https://piano-scribe.glitch.me/ . Maybe you can find more in google. Source: about 1 year ago
You can try to google magenta the songs and extract a MIDI file from them. https://piano-scribe.glitch.me/. Source: over 1 year ago
I either make the MIDI files myself or find them online. My workflows for making them: - either painstakingly transcribe a piece note-for note using midieditor or - find a youtube video of a good rendition - download as MP3 - convert to midi using https://piano-scribe.glitch.me/ (I wrote my own software for this step but Piano Scribe is about 8% better. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Have you tried Piano Scribe? https://piano-scribe.glitch.me/. Source: over 2 years ago
Anybody experimenting with this: I highly recommend the Google 'Onsets and Frames' algorithm as embodied in their demo: https://piano-scribe.glitch.me/ I built something similar with is a lot faster but on a large scale test the google software handily outperforms my own (92% accuracy versus 87% or so, and that is a huge difference because it translates into ~30% fewer errors). - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
Of course it's cool that you made this yourself, but if your end goal is to transcribe piano music, be sure to also check out this app from google that transcribes polyphonic piano music: https://piano-scribe.glitch.me/ using "artificial intelligence". Source: almost 3 years ago
Either this: https://piano-scribe.glitch.me/ or my own cobbled together piece of software. Depending on the content anywhere from 80 to 95% accurate, good enough to get you started and typically the errors are reasonably easy to deal with because of repeating patterns. - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
