We use the Owlet on our baby. Yeah, the same one that's been discontinued for not performing up to FDA standards. But yeah, the alarm went off in the middle of the night because it detected a drop in my baby's oxygen. Not sure what the baby did to provoke that (smushed his face into the mattress or something?), but the alarms went off on our phones, and I jumped up in a panic and ran to check on him. My wife had really bad anxiety so we bought one of these Owlet Sock and it actually caught our son's breathing stop and oxygen levels drop. We had him in a Rock and Play (which was recalled a short while later) and he slid down and he couldn't breathe. The alarm went off and we checked on him.
