  • Integrating rustix on NuttX
Hi Rust experts, we are willing to integrate rustix on NuttX RTOS, the initial effort was done by rustix author: https://github.com/bytecodealliance/rustix/tree/nuttx but it hit the wall since we don't know the right way to integrate cargo with the old-school NuttX's Makefiles. Any help or suggestion is welcome. More about NuttX here: https://nuttx.apache.org and here: https://nuttx.apache.org/docs/latest/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Embedded Systems Weekly #116
Open Source Autopilot for Drone Developers PX4 is an advanced and open source autopilot flight stack for drones. PX4 can flight completely autonomously for pre-programmed missions, or, obviously, it can help a pilot who remote-controls the drone. It runs on NuttX RTOS. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
  • Anyone know of exceptional open source RTOS C projects?
You should definitely have a look at NuttX. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Query: Alternatives to Zephyr?
Maybe Nuttx can be an alternative. Have a look: https://nuttx.apache.org/. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Jump up to embedded programming from Arduino
If you are going to use STM32, try Nuttx. Nuttx is an RTOS so you don't have to write all the drivers, interrupts, etc. Yourself but you do need to write your own applications and tinker with the protocols, pinmaps, etc. And have a decent understanding of how everything works. A good starting point is to watch Nuttx channel on YouTube. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Rust integration on NuttX
That's in fact a very interesting topic, because [NuttX](https://nuttx.apache.org/) is a very attractive realtime OS often used in robotics, UVA controll and even small multimedia devices (sony audio...). It also one of the few OS choices for embedded development, which already supports the new very promising ESP32-C3 and bl602 RISC-V microcontrollers. Source: about 3 years ago
