How about if you give him a reservation on your DHCP server so he always has the same IP and then block that IP from access netflix on your firewall? Or take control of his computer and edit the hosts file to give him erroneous dns entries for netflix.com (you could even redirect back to more productive sites). There are more methods these are just first few that come to mind. - Source: Reddit / 25 days ago
Curious why my comment got downvoted, overriding the hosts file with 127.0.0.1 or something similar will only apply to his computer and will resolve netflix.com locally without hitting a DNS server. - Source: Reddit / 25 days ago
Local hosts file, point netflix.com to 127.0.0.1, see how long it takes him to figure it out. - Source: Reddit / 25 days ago
On my computer, I've installed the Cold Turkey web/app blocker. It's set to block some apps and the entire internet during my study time except for netflix.com, wetv.vip and iq.com. I'm actually only watching one Chinese show after another on Netflix. For some reason I don't really find most Netflix content interesting anyway. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
Go to netflix.com and stream The Young Sheldon season 1-5 on Netflix. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago

Hmm, lets see..... netflix.com... Canceled show, uninteresting reboot, a few movies that are ok, but have no current desire to watch.. a bunch of movies nobody has ever heard of, and a few series that I actually enjoy, arent currently canceled, but release a new season about once a decade... yeah, time to cancel. I might be able to afford an entire pound of beef once a month now! - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
- Put the IPv4 only domains (eg: netflix, youtube etc) in Unbound's domain overrides and point it to BIND. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
I can find and play the show using a computer web browser via netflix.com, so I suspect it is a Roku related issue, not a Netflix issue. Has anyone else experienced this problem with this show or others -- recently or in the past? Searching the net, I can't find anyone describing an issue like this. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago

Be careful with links - unfortunately, on Reddit you can post them like this which makes it easier to fool you into clicking on something dangerous for your phone and data. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
Thanks for the advice on DNS - that was the issue. I was using cloudflare DNS, issue was inconsistent but some netflix.com servers were sporadically timing out when watching the browser traffic. Just switched to google DNS and things started working again. Is it possible old addresses somehow got cached in my resolver server? - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
I also recommend , since you have Starlink, download all the shows you want during the night time hours as well. Almost every streaming service has a download option. You can even do this on Windows versions of Netflix, for example (use the Microsoft store one, not netflix.com). - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
I see people talking in here about how the apps don't work as well. Maybe, but I don't really have much call to use them. Why install the netflix app for example when just going to netflix.com works just as well. The only app I frequently use is the kindle app to read graphic novels, and that works just fine. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
You think a link that has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Netflix (i.e. netflix.com) is possibly legit because when you clicked on the bogus link there was a Netflix logo? - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
Netflix *does* have this option to turn off auto-play. Alas, it's only available if you do it from the Web interface at netflix.com, but it's then respected throughout your sessions elsewhere. - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
Do you understand what is happening when you do a site-to-site vpn from site B to A? You are directing all your traffic to be tunneled to site A. (unless doing split VPN). So your request to connect to netflix.com for example will then be directed through the tunnel from B to A. A will then make the request to netflix.com for you, and then send the response it gets back over to B. That's what a VPN does. ... - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
