My personal preference is Musicbee, a very elegant and flexible media player. Source: 11 months ago
MusicBee. Granular customizations galore. Free. Source: 12 months ago
I use the Musicolet software on the player itself (it's in the Google Play store, and there are APKs available on APKPure), and on the PC, I use the MusicBee software to organize music and create/edit playlists. Source: about 1 year ago
Seriously though, it's time to explore! Foobar2000 and MusicBee are both freeware alternatives to WMP that are well-known in the audiophile community. Source: about 1 year ago
If you're using Windows, [MusicBee](https://getmusicbee.com) has an "Organize" command that will move files into folder locations [based on their metadata and user-defined templates](https://musicbee.fandom.com/wiki/File_Organization). Source: about 1 year ago
On the PC, I used to use Media Monkey, because it supported my iPod. But with my new DAP, I switched to MusicBee. It allows me to select all tracks based on a specified criteria (like directory structure, or file name), and then I can add album art and set MP3/FLAC tags. Source: over 1 year ago
A suggestion - try out MusicBee. Install it > Files > Scan folders for new files. Point it at your top-level music folder. Source: over 1 year ago
I like MusicBee a lot, but I have a ton of music that was recovered after an accidental deletion. For anyone that has had that happen, I found MusicBrainz Picard to help get some song names back. Source: over 1 year ago
Not for me though, I need a full music library organizer for my music collection. Musicbee can auto-tag, sort into my prefered folder, build playlists, auto-level volume, and show lyrics. I need those features! Source: over 1 year ago
Don't bother with it for music. I suggest trying MusicBee. It handles large libraries with ease. Source: over 1 year ago
I recommend MusicBee. I have a Billboard compilation album, and it works fine. Source: over 1 year ago
I've used both Foobar and MusicBee (on Windows) and personally I prefer MusicBee's interface. It works well with my library of 21k files - not sure how it performs with libraries much larger. https://getmusicbee.com/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
MusicBee is excellent. After 15 years of using Media Monkey, I've decided to move to MusicBee. Source: over 1 year ago
MusicBee is great for ripping CDs to various formats (mp3, m4a, FLAC, etc.) It's very good at adding the correct tags and album art to the rips. If you have ample digital storage, consider ripping the CDs in a lossless format (like FLAC) for archival purposes. The lossless files can always be converted to a lossy format like mp3 for putting on your phone or something. Https://musicbee.fandom.com/wiki/Ripping. Source: over 1 year ago
MusicBee replaced Winamp/foobar2000 for me a long time ago, and I've had a tough time finding any alternatives that really measure up. It's one of the few things besides gaming that's keeping me on Windows these days (although it can apparently run pretty well via WINE on Linux). Source: almost 2 years ago
MusicBee is a music player with tons of features. Source: almost 2 years ago

MusicBee Https://i.imgur.com/r7D7LSl.png You can sort by file extension, select all of one file type and slide them into a new playlist. That'll tell you the # of tracks. Source: over 2 years ago

In MusicBee, you can right-click the image to copy or save. Https://i.imgur.com/9qWEPO7.png Been using this site for many years to get good hq album art, usually better than what's embedded - https://albumartexchange.com/. Source: over 2 years ago
I use MusicBee to copy to my M6 using a standard USB C cable, and I get about 1GB/min. Of course, I don't use Bluetooth or Wifi on my M6, so that might be a factor. Source: over 2 years ago
